I have never been a one size fits all kind of person. I love diversity, that spark of what makes each one of us unique.

Growing up in the Midwest was a learning experience. I was the girl who wore strange outfits to school, loved history and was usually the best buddy of the boy-of-my-dreams. You know; the girl they confided in about the girl they really liked. I kept wondering why they couldn’t figure out they’d be better off with me. Oh yeah, they were boys.

Don’t get me wrong, I adore men, and it’s a good thing. I have three of them! A husband and two sons who have kept me supplied with chocolate, wine and a good laugh whenever I’ve needed one. Did I mention that they cheered me on when they found out I was writing erotica? My heroes.

I can't remember a time when I wasn't making up stories! I think that inside of every writer there is a visceral need, a passion to create an entertaining story. Learning to channel that into a career took some time. Along the way I've met some really good friends and have been mentored by some awesome writers. They have my affection and respect.

I joined Romance Writers of America several years ago with more than a few dreams. I've since learned that dreams will sustain you through any and all rejections as long as you remain passionate about them.

I am currently a member of RWA chapters, Mid-America Romance Authors (MARA) and Passionate Ink.

I still live in the Midwest with my husband, who is also my best buddy. He makes me laugh on a daily basis. Both of our sons are happily pursuing their own creative careers, and oh yeah; I don’t have to wear pantyhose when I work. Who could ask for more?
